Using your pens

1. Protect the work surface and read the instructions supplied with the pack.
2. Draw your design on a surface approved in those instructions. Test a small area first.
3. An adult should carry out any required heating step using only the method and settings specified by the manufacturer.
4. Allow the artwork to cool before touching the raised ink.

Do not improvise microwave heating times or heat unsuitable materials. Keep pens and caps out of the mouth, recap after use, and keep away from younger children. The displayed age marking does not mean children should operate heating appliances.

Creative ideas

Try greeting cards, gift tags, scrapbook titles and colourful paper artwork. Finished results vary with the design, surface and application.
